Summer in Washington (June to
August) can be very warm and humid, with temperatures often passing 86
degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius), however beware of clothing
that is too light as air conditioning in some buildings can be quite
intense. The opposite end of the spectrum is late fall and winter
(October to March) when there can be snow and ice.
